Short version of this post is I used CarDoctor+ by Lake of the Woods for the first time and was very impressed by their honest service and money saved. Highly recommend. Long version is my car with 70k miles was due for new front brakes. Dealer quote was $2,100 including new rotors (Audi doesn’t recommend milling or “turning” rotors) so I was looking for a more economical and closer option. Since the owner of CarDoctor+ lives a few doors down and I had seen other positive post, I gave them a call for a quote. Their quote, including new rotors, was just over $1,100. That’s a lot of coin saved versus the dealer quote so I gave them a shot. Everyone at CarDoctor+ was super to work with and the final bill was only $260 because it turns out my rotors were just fine and didn’t need to be replaced or turned. They could have easily replaced the rotors and charged me the higher amount and I still would have been satisfied (and none the wiser) but they were honest about the actual needs of the car and did only the work that was required. Super impressed and will certainly be back for wife’s brakes and other work for both cars. If you haven’t tried them out I would highly recommend.

Best shop I have been to in a while. Got my state inspection done today, and they were thorough, but expedient. The lovely lady at the front desk was very polite and helpful. When calling in they were very polite as well, and informative. If you need any work done, the mechanics here are highly qualified and do a great job. I would recommend them any day of the week for any issues you may have with your vehicle. I will definitely be back!

I have never felt so comfortable taking my car anywhere! I’m a single mom, and am constantly afraid of taking my car in to even get an oil change. As soon as I spoke to Sandy I felt at ease, she’s friendly, funny and made the experience enjoyable (who knew it could be?!) Randy was exceptional-taking care of my vehicle and also took extra time to teach me more about what’s going on and why it needs to be fixed. The pricing is fair, it makes sense to me, and no crazy fees. 10/10 DO RECOMMEND- I’m never taking my car to anyone else!

We'd JUST moved to the area in August, knew no one, and my husband's car got a flat on a Saturday. We were desperate to get it fixed to make an important meeting out of town later that day. After contacting Car Doctor, Brian, the owner brought an air pump to us, led my hubby to the shop, and fixed the tire immediately so we could get on the road in time. We truly appreciated this extra level of kindness and support when we needed it the most. We will definitely be returning customers! Highly recommended!

Went in for a pre-purchased inspection for my recently bought used Acura. The mechanic Dennis was awesome and made a detailled list with pictures of everything needing attention, all neatly organized on a link sent directly to my email I have sent everything back to the seller and they will have to take care of it That will certainly save me a lot future money and stress! Great service, professional organization, friendly staff. I had a clicking issue in my front driver side wheel. This was quickly diagnosed as a CV axle issue. It was replaced the same day at a price that was fair. With an oil change and other routine maintenance the 2017 Subaru Outback runs like a new car. This is my second time to go to this shop under new ownership. They’ve gained a loyal customer.

Exceptional service! Dennis was fantastic dealing with my daughter’s jeep. Then so honest with me about mine! I thought I needed something done, he came in after looking and told me there was no charge as my car was perfectly fine! I have been other places that would not have been the case! The staff is friendly and they are pretty great on time management! Highly recommend.

I went to the car doctor plus today for an alignment and tire work. I was impressed with the top of the line equipment and their professionalism. I met the new owner. he actually gave me a tour of the shop and the work he put into the business. he even introduced me to the employees. Went to get my inspection done today, fantastic crew members. I got there when they opened the guy at the desk told me they were down a guy but would try to get it done before 1pm. I walked across the street to get food and by the time I was back they had already finished it. Great work guys and thank you for being helpful and thorough

I had my Nissan in for an alignment and they did a great job at a fair price. The only complaint was they left my car unlocked overnight and someone got into the car and went thru the glove compartment and console looking for money. I did contact the manager of the shop and he assured me they would be locking customers cars in the future.

I just had a great experience with this place! I walked in 3 minutes before closing (I know, I know... I didn't check the hours of operation...) because I had a screw in my tire. Instead of turning me around, Leslie and "tall" Randy were able to get me back on the road quickly. Thank you so much for making my dilemma your priority!

Thank you to Randy. We were coming home and ran over something in the road and had a flat tire. Car Doctor was closed after hours but Randy made sure to switch out our spare tire so we weren't stranded. Offered us advice and made sure to answer our questions. Thank you for your kindness.

CarDoctor+ is a great shop I’ve had a few challenging situations with my vehicle and this shop has done a great job addressing them. Everyone that works here are nice and I would recommend this shop to people that are looking for a good repair shop to go to.

Recently had some work done on my car and had a great experience. They are fast, affordable and kind. The front receptionist (Leslie) is so loving and personable and i loved chatting with her ♥️ will be bringing my vehicles back to them!

Great shop, have brought my car in twice for an oil change, and a little issue that the dealer messed up! and it was relatively painless, price was great, and they do quality work. Will definitely be back.
